Dear PMIMSL Members,
I hope this newsletter finds you in great spirits and ready to embrace the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for our chapter. As we continue to grow and thrive, we reached 1,617 members in June; your involvement and enthusiasm remain the cornerstone of our success. This month, we have several important updates and events to share with you, so let's dive right in!
Call for Nominations: Shape the Future of Our Chapter
We are thrilled to announce the opening of the "Call for Nominations" for our chapter leadership positions. This is your chance to step up and make a significant impact on our community. Whether you have a passion for project management, a vision for our chapter's future, or simply want to contribute your skills and experience, we encourage you to consider nominating yourself for the following positions: VP Admin & Governance; VP Volunteers; VP Membership; VP Outreach and President-Elect!
· Why Nominate? Being part of the leadership team offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of our chapter, develop your leadership skills, and connect with like-minded professionals.
· Eligibility: All current members in good standing are eligible.
· How to Nominate: Please submit an application in the Volunteer Engagement Platform (VEP) by July 31! Check our webpage for information, send questions to Fred Gowin @ past.president@pmimsl.org.
Your participation is crucial in ensuring our chapter continues to thrive and evolve. We look forward to seeing a diverse and dynamic group of candidates!
A Successful Professional Development Day (PDD) in June
We are delighted to report that our Professional Development Day (PDD) held in June was a resounding success! This event provided valuable insights and networking opportunities for all participants. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a memorable one. Your enthusiasm and support are what make our chapter events truly special.

We have two exciting events coming up that you won't want to miss:
Breakfast Meeting: 7:00 AM on August 12 at Maritz Corporation with guest speaker Drew Rapplean. Join us for: “Requirements! How do we keep missing things?”, a morning of networking and knowledge-sharing at our upcoming Breakfast Meeting. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, share ideas, and gain insights from our guest speaker.
Dinner Meeting: Celebrating Achievements and Introducing Candidates on August 27, 5:30 PM at the Clayton Plaza Hotel with guest speaker Tanya Roberts. Our Dinner Meeting promises to be an evening of celebration and inspiration. We will be recognizing our PMIMSL chapter scholarship winners and introducing the candidates for the upcoming chapter leadership elections!
These events are a fantastic way to stay engaged with our chapter and support your fellow members. We encourage you to attend and bring along colleagues or friends who might be interested in joining our vibrant community. Registration will be posted soon on our website: pmimsl.org!
