PMIMSL Annual Awards Program

Recognizing excellence in project management across the Greater St. Louis region. Nominations are open for Project Manager of the Year, Project of the Year, and PMO of the Year.

The PMIMSL Annual Awards recognize excellence in project management across the Greater St. Louis region by celebrating outstanding project managers, projects, and Project Management Offices (PMOs). These awards highlight professionals and organizations who demonstrate leadership, innovation, measurable business impact, and excellence in project delivery.

Award Categories

🏅 Project Manager of the Year

Recognizes an individual PM who led significant initiatives with measurable impact.

Recognizes a project completed or substantially executed in 2025–2026.

🏢 PMO of the Year

Recognizes a PMO demonstrating measurable organizational impact.

1. Project Manager of the Year: Eligibility Criteria

  • Nominee is employed or resides within the PMIMSL geographic service area.
  • Nominee does not need to be a PMIMSL member.
  • Employer does not need to be headquartered in the St. Louis area.
  • Nominee must have served as the primary project manager for one or more significant initiatives completed or substantially executed during the award period.

2. Project of the Year: Eligibility Criteria

Projects are eligible if they meet both of the following:

Regional tie (one of the two):

  • Completed within the PMIMSL geographic area.
  • Led by a project manager located within the PMIMSL geographic area.

Timing (one of the two):

  • Completed during the second half of 2025.
  • Completed (or scheduled for completion) during calendar year 2026.

Projects from public, private, nonprofit, education, and government organizations are all eligible.

3. PMO of the Year: Eligibility Criteria

  • PMO does not need to include a PMIMSL member, no category in this program has a membership requirement.
  • Organization does not need to be headquartered within the St. Louis region.
  • PMO must demonstrate measurable organizational impact during the award period.

Nomination Process

Who May Nominate

  • Self-nominations are permitted.
  • Managers, peers, executives, clients, or sponsors may submit nominations.
  • Organizations may nominate multiple individuals or projects.

Required Submission Materials

All nominations should include:

  • Completed nomination form
  • Executive summary (maximum 2 pages)
  • Supporting metrics and outcomes
  • Optional supporting documentation (dashboards, photos, testimonials, presentations, etc.)

Judging Process

A panel of judges will consist of the PMIMSL Board and PMIMSL Directors. Judges must disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from scoring affected nominations.
