April After Hours Chat: Stakeholder Engagement
Stakeholder identification and management is a key part of any project. Without a well-executed stakeholder management plan, even the best planned projects become susceptible to failure. Join us as we talk about the workings of good stakeholder management and learn from past case studies.
Presenters: Anna Miskovski, Project Management Consultant at Integrated Project Management Company (IPM). She has a B.S. and M.S. in Food Science from Kansas State University. Prior to joining IPM in 2019, Anna held various leadership roles at major international food manufacturers where she translated consumer insights into food products to deliver highly successful global consumer propositions. She is a lifelong learner on stakeholder management as her roles required strong partnership with supply chain, engineering, marketing, sales and others for successful project delivery. Anna’s love of project management began early in her product development career, and she continued this passion in her last food industry role where she step-changed the Project Management function’s performance by introducing a Stage-Gate process and project speed to market. Most recently at IPM, Anna provided clients with management consulting to transform their business processes and tools, delivering complex and fast paced project execution across a variety of business segments.
Dan Roirdan, Project Management Consultant at Integrated Project Management Company (IPM). He has a B.S. in Air Traffic Management from Lewis University. Prior to joining IPM in 2020, Dan served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer in the U.S. Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, Dan had the opportunity to lead groups ranging in size from 40 to 350 people in high pace logistics and manufacturing roles. Notably, Dan was selected as the Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, lead for Vice President Pence’s surprise visit in 2017. Working with the Whitehouse and senior government officials gave Dan insight into stakeholder management with one of the most difficult stakeholders in the world! Dan closed out his time in the Air Force leading the KC-46A Pegasus Program Integration Office at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst where he was involved in capital projects and change management for the installation. It was during that role that Dan realized he had a love for true Project Management. During his time at IPM, Dan has been involved with Project Portfolio Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, and most recently pharmaceutical development.
