PMIMSL: May 2022 Lunch and Learn - Agile Implementation

Agile

The Federal government declared years ago that it was adopting Agile processes as its way of doing business and, since that time, greater and greater numbers of Federal contract awards require contractors to be Agile. Unfortunately, things don't change overnight for heavily regulated, behemoth organizations with their own well-established culture. Because of this, introducing Agile methods and frameworks can be an exercise in futility. Happily, there are several Agile success stories within the Federal government from which we can draw inspiration. The speaker will share his experiences working with the Federal government inside USDA to implement Agile for both small and large projects and highlight some takeaway strategies that can be used to successfully implement Agile elsewhere
