Over the past two years, presenter Jim Craig has led two organizations through the process of developing five-year strategic plans. Jim will share practical tools and techniques that are universally used in leading strategic planning initiatives. Whether you work with a small company or a major corporation, knowing the basics strategic planning will enhance your value as a project manager.
Jim Craig, Vice President of the 1141 Group, was recognized as one of St. Louis’ best bosses in 2017. He was an entrepreneur in the 1990s – founding and selling two technology companies, became a director at Mercy in the 2000s, and became a PMP in 2007. He has run major programs at Wells Fargo, BJC, and Mercy. Jim served as President of the Bentonville/Bella Vista Trailblazers Association, President, Deacon, and Elder for Strategic Planning of Woodlawn Chapel, and Secretary of Mitrata Nepal Foundation for Children – an international charity that provides education, nutrition, housing, and medical care for orphans and underprivileged children in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Jim currently serves as President Elect of Mitrata, is a member of the Shadow Riders Club of St. Louis, the Ironbutt Association, and participates as a mentor in the PMI St. Louis Chapter’s mentoring program.
