What exactly do these terms mean and how can we as project management professionals ensure that we are leading the highest performing teams? How can we adjust our facilitation and tools to make sure our team members are included and understood? Join Alvin Doss and Deana Pape to learn how we can be good stewards of diversity, equity, and inclusion while leading project teams and using techniques that empower our stakeholders.

Presenter Alvin Doss, Jr., is a Senior Director of Operations at Integrated Project Management Company. He has a B.S. in General Science from Morehouse College, a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He has over 20 years’ experience providing management consulting and outsourced project management services to companies ranging from start-up entities to top-tier corporations by supporting complex strategic, business optimization, operations optimization, and product development projects. He has been PMP certified since 2005 and Six Sigma Black Belt certified by ASQ since 2006. Presenter Deana Pape is a Director of Operations at Integrated Project Management Company. She has a B.S. in Biology and an MBA from University of Missouri and over 30 years of experience in project and portfolio management leading several Product Development, Business Process Optimization, and Mergers, Acquisitions, & Integration projects across several industries. Six years ago she founded Grow Empower Motivate, a women in leadership group within IPM and continues to be inspired by her colleagues while leading this group today. She has had her PMP certification since 2005 and currently volunteers on the Metro St. Louis PMI Chapter and with a tech startup, Simply Foster.
